Great question and thanks for asking. I put a lot of stake into the people I hang around. I go to seminars and meet the presenters and usually buy their stuff...partly to learn of course, but also to get closer into their network. And, then out of all the people I meet, I might choose one or two of them to follow more closely but most I dismiss as "just not a good fit for me." But, when those few people suggest something, or report on a new strategy they tried, I am all over it!

My second response to that question is that I tend to only spend my time on the few core things I know I'm really good at. I let my team do the rest. Every high-octane Internet millionaire I know has a team of people they've worked with for a long time.

I'm just getting started in a new business - I have been an avid internet marketing student for some time now. It's so easy to get wrapped up in the next-latest-greatest-thing. Marty, how the heck to you pick what to listen to and apply, and what to put on the back burner. I don't want to keep wasting time I could be implementing my business plan...suggestions?
