Tips for Posting YouTube Videos to Website

Posted by Marty Dickinson on Oct 13, 2014

Embed your videos: Use Embed codeĀ <iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”//www.youtube.com/embed/whatever” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>

From there, you can do several things with your video, but make sure that you only use the ? sign once in the url string. Otherwise, none of the functions after that will work. You need to use the & sign to add more functions

Make video Auto-Play: Add &autoplay=1&rel=0

Stop related videos from showing on the end: Use ?rel=0

So, together it should look like this: http:www.youtube.com/embed/whatevernumber?rel=o&autoplay=1
